The large building on the right of the top picture is a hotel that survived the earthquake and tsunami.
In the bottom left picture Takahashi-san stands under the wave height line at the hospital on the hill.
In the bottom right picture there's a picture of a huge building left destroyed by the tsunami and the empty space now where it stood.
